Non-apoptotic forms of cell death (e.g. necroptosis, pyroptosis, etc.) lead to the release of danger signals, which activate immune cells and mount an inflammatory response. This project aims to identify cell-signaling pathways to prompt an anti-tumoral immune response by triggering beneficial inflammation and/or immunogenic cell death (ICD) in tumor cells. Different approaches are investigated to combine immunoactivators with ICD-inducers.
