What D&I means to us
At Boehringer Ingelheim, we understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We understand that this importance is multi-faceted, having for example, social, legal, compliance and economic perspectives. Through each of these “D&I lenses”, we are committed.
We believe the power of diversity is only unleashed in an inclusive workplace. Inclusion creates a working environment where every employee feels a sense of belonging by working towards shared goals, while at the same time being and feeling valued for individual uniqueness. We work globally with integrity and passion. We treat everyone with empathy, respect, and trust to nurture a diverse, collaborative, open and inclusive environment. We believe that each person has a part to play in creating this inclusive environment. Whether our unique perspectives come from our employees’ backgrounds or from our wide range of partners and suppliers, we proudly weave diversity and inclusion into the fabric of who we are.
Diversity & Inclusion is an integral part of BI’s identity; a key element of our culture and contributes to our ‘Sustainable Development – For Generations’.
