My name is Le Xieen. My job title is Scientist in the Chemistry department in Shanghai, China, where I am responsible for the procurement and quality control of raw materials as well as maintaining contact with other operating units.
My way to Boehringer Ingelheim
After graduating from China Pharmaceutical University, I applied to Boehringer Ingelheim via the job board knowing it was the leading company in this industry. After a successful interview, I joined the Quality Control department in Shanghai and was later transferred to Boehringer Ingelheim’s new Centre of Competence.
My typical working day at BI
In the Morning. I usually check my e-mails for updates around 8.30am before going into the laboratory to carry out experiments and collect data. Afternoon: I return to the office for data analysis and reporting, usually finishing at around 5.30pm.
