I’m the Director of Medical Affairs at Boehringer Ingelheim.
My work at Boehringer Ingelheim
During my time at Boehringer Ingelheim I’ve led teams, I’ve been an individual contributor. I’ve been involved in a lot of training: things like leadership development and management development. I have been able to explore a lot of different opportunities in the 7 years that I’ve been here.
That’s why I work for Boehringer Ingelheim
We work in a very targeted fashion in my area – clever people working on clever strategies – which is a lot of fun.
The climate is friendly, fair and sporting, and at the same time very humane. You can tell that corporate activities are not only driven by capital and that ethical concerns are very present and play a key role in decisions.
I value my team colleagues as they support each other, deal with matters in a constructive fashion and are dynamic and resilient. I am also fascinated by Boehringer Ingelheim’s straightforwardness and the company’s sustainable activities.
People deal with each other in a very transparent, consistent and fair way – at the same time focusing on top performance. I like that very much!
Why Boehringer Ingelheim
Boehringer Ingelheim has given me a lot. I’ve always been involved in projects that I really believe in and I’ve been given many opportunities to develop myself and to figure out how I can best contribute. I’m not sure this is something that you can find in a lot of other employers. I just fell in love with this place – even on the first day when I came for my interview, just driving up to the premises.
What I really enjoy about my work here at Boehringer Ingelheim is that it gives me the opportunity to work in a team, to work with really talented people, and a very diverse group of people as well.
Boehringer Ingelheim is a great place. Boehringer Ingelheim takes care of you. That’s it, really, in a nutshell. The benefits are great. Boehringer Ingelheim has always taken care of me and my family and I appreciate that.
