I was a trainee at Beohringer Ingelheim in Mexico. That was my first experience in a pharmaceutical company. I was always very quiet and didn't talk that much (only business related topics), very focused on daily tasks and as I was surrounded by other professionals with more experience and different academic brackground I learnt a lot.
As an introvert, a comment I still remember from a college was: "you didn't talk during the course, you should talk anything, even something stupid or a joke, anything, but you should talk, otherwise, no one will notice you". I just smiled.
It's been 3 years since then and .. I have been noticing that introversion is becoming more recognized around people. So, it was a really good reading :)
